How To Delete Extra Rows And Columns In Excel

Thanks for the response but I do know how to delete a few rows or columns like described, but I am request almost the 100 columns and rows. How can I delete all of them and do it one fourth dimension? Is there a mode to outset on like column M and highlight all the way to end to delete them ane time?

Thanks for clarifying the issue. If the columns you lot want to delete commencement from cavalcade M, showtime, click the starting cell (say, M1), then concord Shift while you click the ending prison cell (let's say Z1000). And then, it volition automatically highlight the entire columns, now you tin correct-click the highlighted columns and click delete Entire Column.

Another way is to use the Proper noun Box at the left end of the Formula Bar.
Click the content of the Name Box. Type the range to be selected (e.1000 M1:Z1000). Press return. Then delete the highlighted columns. You tin can exercise the same method when deleting rows every bit well wherein you don't take to manually highlight the extra rows/columns that you want to delete.
